My cake smash photo shoots are ideal for babies around 10–15 months old and are styled to fit your style, wether that is simple, beige and clean to bright, colourful and custom. Sessions are baby-led, unrushed, and designed to feel fun and playful!

A cake smash is a fun, playful photo session done to celebrate a baby’s first birthday. Your child is given a cake to explore, taste, and (most of the time) enthusiastically smash.
WHAT IF MY CHILD DOESN'T SMASH THE CAKE?
There are no rules and no expectations. Some babies dive straight in, some carefully poke the frosting, and others prefer to investigate with their feet first. Every reaction is different, and that’s what makes cake smash photos so special. You are guarenteed to get photos to look back on and cherish, it's all about capturing the moment!
MY BABY DOESN'T LIKE CAKE, IS THERE ANOTHER OPTION?
If your baby doesn’t like cake, that’s completely okay! A cake smash doesn’t have to involve cake at all. I provide simple Birthday Sessions that are just like a cake smash but without the cake.. or we are able to substitute the cake for something else.. these options include a fruit smash, donut or pancake smash, or even ice cream! Send me a message and lets brainstorm!
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO BOOK A CAKE SMASH?
The best time to book a cake smash session is ideally when your baby is around 6-8 months old. Booking ahead ensures my availability and gives us plenty of time to plan theme, colours, and any custom details it also ensures your photos are ready in time for birthday celebrations, invitations, or keepsakes.
If you don’t need your images for the birthday itself, you’re welcome to book at any time and I will occasionally have last-minute availability, so send me a message for more info!

Completely Custom set ups
The Custom Cake Smash is a fully personalised first birthday photoshoot designed to reflect your child’s personality, interests, and favourite things. From favourite storybook characters, TV shows.. to specific colour palettes or themes, every detail is thoughtfully planned out with you in advance and custom built by myself and my wonderful team.
This session is perfect for parents who want something more expressive and story-driven, while still keeping the experience relaxed and baby-led.

BATH SPLASH ADD-ON
A Bath Splash add-on is a short, playful add-on that takes place after the cake smash. It’s a fun and practical way to clean up while capturing even more adorable photos.
After all the messy fun, your baby is placed in a small tub with warm water and bubbles. Most babies love splashing, playing and having fun in the water, often resulting in big smiles, giggles, and the best photos!

The Family Add-On allows parents and siblings to be included in your baby’s cake smash session for some beautiful little memories.
