How it all began
I first picked up a camera at 11 years old, the first photo I took was of a fruit bowl and put it in sepia tone, but I remember just how proud I was of that photo and showed it to anyone who would look. Fast forward a few years, I retired the sepia tone and now specialise in family/children photography. My goal in photography is to create timeless memories that will never fade.
Where it started..
I’ve always loved being around children and babies. Even when I was young myself, there was just something about that childlike wonder I naturally gravitated towards. My mum tells me when my brother was born, people would call me a little mummy.
My love for photography started when I was around 13. I became completely fascinated by the work of photographers I found online, following their work and learning everything I could. I even started editing photographs for photographers at at around 14, and I absolutely loved being part of the creative process.
Photography stayed with me for all those years, but I never quite had the confidence to believe I could be the person behind the camera myself. It wasn’t until my late twenties that I finally felt brave enough to pick one up.
